A new team was established to work with the development of ODA, Ohio Deaf Community, and form partnerships with foundations to get grants for ODA and the NuHop Camp for deaf children.

March 16, Mark Apodaca, a certified legal Parliamentarian at the Ohio School for the Deaf in Columbus, conducted a nine-hour parliamentary training program for the deaf community. The seminar was very productive, and the new ODA Board learned much about legal governance.

June 23 was the setting of the last OAD meeting on Zoom chaired by Irene Tunanidas, former OAD President. A brief history of the OAD was shared with 45 people who participated in the meeting.​​​​​​​​​​​
